📖 On-site observation, experiencing the weight of words
Under the guidance of their teachers, students worked in groups and entered Hsinchu Zoo
the oldest zoo in Taiwan and the first to be transformed into an eco-friendly zoo—carrying out observation tasks.
Throughout the observation process, students raised many thoughtful and engaging questions:
“Why does the Malayan sun bear keep pacing in circles?”
“Do orangutans recognize people?” “Why are gibbons so loud?”
These questions, rooted in real-world experiences, allowed language learning to move beyond the classroom and into life itself.
Observation led to understanding, which was then transformed into writing rich with emotion and perspective.
In nature, students learned to see the world—and through words, they learned to express their own voice.
✍️ Writing practice—from senses to genuine emotion
We look forward to sharing their observations and written creations
showcasing how this visit to the zoo sparked both learning and creativity!
