1. Communication in the Mother Tongue

The ability to express concepts, thoughts, feelings, and opinions in one’s native language through listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This includes vocabulary, grammar, language awareness, and adapting communication appropriately across different social and cultural contexts. Developing this competence requires constructive dialogue and a willingness to communicate with others.
2. Communication in Foreign Languages

This refers to the ability to use a foreign language (typically an official international language) for communication. In addition to skills similar to the mother tongue, it includes understanding the culture, society, and language variation of other countries. 3. Mathematical Competence and Basic Competences in Science and Technology

Mathematical competence involves applying logical reasoning to solve daily problems. 4. Digital Competence

Digital competence is the confident and critical use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for work, leisure, and communication. It involves searching, evaluating, storing, creating, and exchanging information online, as well as understanding the ethical and legal principles related to digital interactions and data management.
5. Learning to Learn

This is the ability to pursue and persist in learning. It includes organizing and managing time, identifying learning opportunities, overcoming challenges, and applying existing knowledge and experience to new contexts. Self-awareness of learning preferences, proactive engagement, collaboration, and sharing learning results are all key to motivating oneself and building confidence.
6. Social and Civic Competences

Social competence includes behaviors necessary for effective interaction, especially when resolving conflicts or engaging with diverse cultures and social settings. This competence involves creative expression of ideas, experiences, and emotions through arts such as literature, music, performing arts, and visual arts. It includes knowledge of local, national, and global cultures, geographic context, and an appreciation of contemporary cultural expressions.
